The Park Hotels announce new boutiques in exotic Indian locales

THe Park GroupIndia-based The Park Hotels will add two new luxury hotels to The Park Collection brand, which is a group of one off boutique hotels in exciting destinations. The new hotels will be in areas of outstanding natural beauty and are due to open at the end of 2015.

Priya Paul, Chairperson of The Park Hotels said, “The majority of our hotels are in cities across India and it is exciting to grow the collection into more off-the-beaten-track leisure destinations. We expect to see significant demand for these hotels from international guests.”

The Park Corbett

The Park Corbett, in Jim Corbett National Park (Uttarakhand, North India), opens in November 2015 and will have 40 rooms. It will be the first branded luxury hotel to open in the park, which is one of the best in India and home to a spectacular array of wildlife, including the Bengal Tiger.

The hotel has a prime position, accessible all year round and situated close to the park entrance. It has expansive landscaped gardens and combines natural materials, including local stone with contemporary design. The hotel will offer excellent dining and services, including safaris run by the in-house naturalists.

The Park Wayanad

The Park Wayanad in Northern Kerala is also set to open at the end of the year. The hotel will have around 25 cottages and villas and is located in the forested area of Wayanad that extends into the hills of the Western Ghats. The ambience here will be that of an eco-resort, with breath-taking views, again with Park Hotel’s exquisite design, dining and service culture.

THe Park Group BFive new Zone by The Park Hotels announced

Following the successful launch of the first Zone by The Park properties in Coimbatore (December 2015) and Jaipur (April 2015), the company is delighted to announce its five upcoming properties in Chennai (August 2015), Mahabalipuram (November 2015), Jodhpur (December 2015), Raipur and Goa (date TBC).

The line is overseen by London-based, award-winning RIBA designers Project Orange, working in conjunction with Priya Paul. Zone by The Park properties are priced at the £50- £70 mark. They bring a new level of design-forward hotels to the mid-market Indian hotel sector, which is experiencing increasing demand for branded hotels across the subcontinent.

Drawing from The Park’s design spirit, the concept envisions an interactive series of buzzing spaces using the best of contemporary design, with creative and playful interiors, multifunctional spaces, great restaurants, bars and vibrant nightlife.
