Randi Talmage has been appointed to Sales Manager of the JW Marriott Grand Rapids. Since joining AHC+Hospitality in 2006, Ms Talmage has continued into various roles and into management due to her ambition and eagerness to grow within the hospitality industry in Grand Rapids.
Randi Talmage has been appointed to Sales Manager of the JW Marriott Grand Rapids. Since joining AHC+Hospitality in 2006, Ms Talmage has continued into various roles and into management due to her ambition and eagerness to grow within the hospitality industry in Grand Rapids. In her new role, MsÊTalmage will work with the hotel team to visit clients, set up calls with prospective groups and build relationships with businesses in the local area. Given the hotel’s diverse meeting spaces, Ms Talmage’s relationship with businesses in West Michigan is imperative.
She will also lend sales support to the Amway Grand Plaza, and the Downtown Courtyard by Marriott in Grand Rapids in the regional market. Noting her familiarity within the state, she plans on working with local groups who have offices in West Michigan, including the Lake Shore, Traverse City, Holland and more.
Ms Talmage has filled many roles within AHC+Hospitalty. She began her career as concierge at the Amway Grand Plaza, before moving into convention services where she served as an Assistant Director. In her new role, she’ll use her experience advantage given her previous work on the planning sector of the business as she’ll easily anticipate the needs of incoming groups.
