Benchmark,Êa global hospitality company, has named Matina Lapanaitis General Manager for The Mayfair Hotel, a Benchmark ResortsÊand Hotels property located in Los Angeles, California. Greg Champion, Benchmark’s President, made the announcement.

A seasoned hotel executive with three decades of senior leadership experience, Ms Lapanaitis was most recently Managing Director for Mosaic Hotel and Maison 140, both of Beverly Hills, California. While General Manager of Mosaic Hotel in a previous role, the hotel secured a coveted place on Travel + Leisure magazine’s prestigious ÒTop 10 Small Hotels in the USA and CanadaÓ list. She has also served in top positions for properties in San Diego, West Hollywood, as well as in Australia.
Ms Lapanaitis attended CDI Institute, St Leonards, North South Wales, Australia. She resides in Beverly Hills.
