Raffles Dubai appoints Wolfgang Wagenleitner as Executive Pastry Chef

Wolfgang WagenleitnerRaffles Dubai is pleased to announce the appointment of Wolfgang Wagenleitner as Executive Pastry Chef, overseeing the dessert and bakery operation at the landmark luxury hotel.

A consummate pastry expert with over 25 years of culinary experience, Mr Wagenleitner will be responsible for creative menu development as well as the exemplary execution of pastry across the hotel’s award-winning food and beverage outlets, banqueting and in-room dining.

Having built his culinary career at number of leading five star hotels around the world, Mr Wagenleitner brings to the role many years of pastry expertise. He joins Raffles Dubai from The Meydan Hotel, where he was Executive Pastry Chef from 2015, and prior to this he held roles at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Ritz Carlton Sharq Village & Spa and The Romanos & Westin Costa Navarino.

Mr Wagenleitner studied at the School of Pastry in Vienna and holds a Master Certificate for Food Service Management from Cornell University New York. An Austrian national, he is fluent in German, English and Russian.Ê
