Jim Morrissey named new General Manager of The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa

The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Morrissey as general manager. An established leader in the hospitality industry, Morrissey brings more than 25 years of experience in lodging operations and sales to the Santa Catalina Mountain based property.

In his new role, Morrissey will be responsible for day-to-day operations and continued revenue growth for the iconic resort while striving to maintain the exceptional guest relations the property has been celebrated for over the last thirty years.

Prior to joining The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa, Morrissey served as general manager at a variety of notable properties including The Gwen Chicago, The Westin Snowmass Resort & Spa in Colorado, the Sheraton Music City Hotel, and the Sheraton Nashville. Amongst Morrissey’s growing list of industry accolades are the Marriott International General Manager’s Mustang Award, the Sunstone Hotels Special Achievement Award, and the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Social & Cultural Sustainable Hotel of the Year which he was recognized for during his tenure at the Sheraton Music City.
