Tammy Uy promoted to Vice President, Creative Development at Outrigger

Outrigger Enterprises Group has announced the promotion of Tammy Uy to the newly created position of Vice President, Creative Development.

From Outrigger’s corporate headquarters in Honolulu, Uy drives the positioning and brand development for Outrigger’s global portfolio across six countries. She sets and maintains the artistic integrity for the brand creative and design while working closely with her Asia Pacific counterpart to concept and execute property branding, key products and outlet concepts, including food and beverage, Navasana Spa and Outrigger Trading Company. In this new role, Uy manages the design, implementation and production of brand portfolio marketing materials in collaboration with key stakeholders, as well as oversight of all external agencies.

Uy joined Outrigger as executive creative director in 2014 with an equal mix of design, advertising and brand strategy background. She came to Outrigger from MVNP/an affiliate of DDB Needham, an integrated advertising agency based in Honolulu. There she served as senior creative director and drove collaboration across all media disciplines, led accounts including travel and tourism (Hawaii Visitor and Convention Bureau), hospitality, financial institution, health care, land development and shopping centers. Before MVNP, she served as associate creative director for Mullen, a creatively driven organization where she furthered her experience in travel and tourism while focusing on new business acquisition.

Uy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from Pennsylvania State University, was awarded the AAF-Hawaii 2010 Ad Woman of the Year in recognition of her outstanding leadership and innovation and throughout the years, has won several major ad industry awards.
