Charlie Rushton appointed Executive Chef of Hotel Crescent Court

Charlie RushtonHotel Crescent Court in Dallas’ Uptown has announced the appointment of Charlie Rushton as Executive Chef to its distinguished team. In this role, Rushton manages culinary operations for the 220-room Lone Star Landmark and five of its restaurants and bars, including the lively lobby lounge, Beau’s; The Conservatory, enclosed by glass and peeking out into the famed courtyard gardens; Spa Café; Crescent Gourmet & Starbucks; and the exclusive, members-only Crescent Club – located on the 17th floor overlooking the dazzling Dallas cityscape.

Hotel Crescent Court welcomes Rushton from his position as Senior Executive Chef of Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, Calif., where he spearheaded the development of three restaurants following the resort’s multi-million dollar expansion. The U.K. native’s impressive resume also touts significant time spent as Executive Sous Chef of the five-star Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore in Santa Barbara, Calif. and a six-year stint in Australia, where he designed, opened and operated the 80-seat EastCoast Bar & Café, earning recognition as Restaurant of the Region. The seasoned culinary connoisseur’s expertise also includes eight years as Group Executive Chef of Marco Pierre White – White Star Line Restaurant Group in London, overseeing five world-renowned restaurants including Mirabelle, which achieved a Michelin Star during his tenure.
