Michael Pedder appointed General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Seattle

Michael PedderFour Seasons Hotel Seattle has announced Michael Pedder as the new General Manager, bringing more than 15 years of luxury hospitality experience with him to the 147-room hotel in downtown Seattle. Most recently, he was the Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago.

Born and raised in Liverpool, England, Pedder moved to the United States where he spent several years as the general manager of The Vanderbilt Hall in historic Newport, Rhode Island, before becoming the director of Deerfield Golf and Tennis Club in Newark, Delaware.

Pedder’s Four Seasons career began in 2002 at the former Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia. In 2006, he headed to Lanai at Four Seasons Resort Lanai and Four Seasons Resort Lanai, The Lodge at Koele.

The following year, Pedder transferred to Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. One of Pedder’s significant accomplishments during his three years in Los Angeles was overseeing the successful opening of the Hotel’s restaurant, Culina, Modern Italian. In 2011, he was promoted to Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Austin, followed by his transfer in the same position to the brand’s hotel in Chicago.
