Patrick Mullinix, the Group President of Signature Inn, has been appointed to the Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association’s (BLLA) Advisory Board at the organization’s Boutique Hotel Investment Conference in New York City.
Launched in December 2015, the Signature brand currently has three properties in the U.S. and 10 more expected to open before the end of the year.
“The response to Signature has been tremendous,” said Mullinix. “The boutique segment, particularly affordable boutique, is gaining popularity with consumers and Signature provides hotel owners a unique opportunity to get a strong foothold in this evolving market with their existing assets.
“BLLA has been a major influencer in the industry and I am so honored to be asked to help shape and contribute to this growing organization. Fran Kiradjian and her team have done an amazing job and they’ve been a great source of knowledge and resources for us and our Signature owners.”
Founded in 2009, BLLA is the voice of the world’s boutique and lifestyle hotels. The association was formed in response to a demand for a collective voice for this growing industry. Today, the association has more than 750 members.
“Patrick is a wonderful addition to our Advisory Board,” said Kiradjian, Founder and Chair of BLLA. “His vast industry experience and connections bring a new perspective to our organization and we are looking forward to his input and direction.”
