Hilton Worldwide announces Tracy Walker as Area General Manager for San Diego.
Tracy Walker began her career in hospitality more than 25 years ago with Hilton Hotels. Most recently, Walker served as General Manager of Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu, managing the company’s largest hotel encompassing 22 beachfront acres and 2,860 guest rooms. Upon her four-year tenure at the resort, Tracy directed a multi-million dollar renovation and expansion project including complete makeovers of the resort’s upscale Alii Tower, the Diamond Head Tower, Coral and Tapa ballrooms and conference centers, Bali Steak & Seafood, Tapa Bar, main lobby and Luau Garden.

Benolken, senior vice president, hotel operations, Hilton Worldwide. “Her award-winning leadership and extensive operations experience will be an exciting addition to our San Diego properties.”
In 2009, Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek opened under Walker’s leadership and the hotel achieved some of the company’s most coveted honors including highest internal guest satisfaction scores in 2010 and 2011, Housekeeping Award of Excellence, Food and Beverage Award of Excellence, The Genius of “And” Award and the prestigious Connie Award which is given to “the best of the best” hotels within each brand in the Hilton Worldwide portfolio.
Walker will have direct oversight of Hilton San Diego Bayfront while providing regional leadership support for Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Diego Mission Valley and Embassy Suites by Hilton La Jolla.
Tracy is a graduate of the University of Utah and she will be joined in California by her husband, Scot. She enjoys the outdoors, running, golfing and traveling.
