Raffles appoints new General Managers in Paris and the Seychelles

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is delighted to welcome two new general managers at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris and Raffles Praslin, Seychelles.

Joining Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris is Aaron Kaupp, who brings over seventeen years of experience at top luxury hotels to his new position.  Aaron joins the palace hotel from his most recent role as General Manager at Belmond Villa San Michele, Florence – recognised as one of Italy’s finest boutique hotels. Prior to this, Arron successfully opened and managed the Armani Hotel, Milan and Palazzo Sasso in Ravello as well as receiving several prestigious accolades during his career such as ‘Best General Manager of a Luxury Hotel/Resort Worldwide’ at the Luxury Travel Advisor awards.

Speaking about his new role Aaron said “I am very excited to bring my expertise gained in the luxury field as well as my passion for hospitality to Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris and look forward to being part of the future success of this very special Parisian palace.”

This month also sees the appointment of Joerg Roterberg as General Manager at Raffles Praslin, Seychelles who brings over 25 years of experience to Raffles. In 2005, after several years as general manager in properties in Antigua, Barbados and British Virgin Islands, Joerg joined InterContinental Sandton Towers, Johannesburg as General Manager. Joerg joins Raffles Hotels and Resorts from his most recent position as Vice President of Operations at Elite Island Resorts, Barbados.
