Emirates Place hires three new executive-level managers

Emirates Palace logoEmirates Place General Manager, Mr. Holger Schroth has appointed three new key members to his team: Anna Olsson as the new Director of Sales and Marketing, Stefan Trepp as the new Executive Chef and José Medronho as the new Executive Assistant Manager for food and beverage.

Remarking on the recent announcements, Mr. Holger Schroth, the General Manager, said “I am honoured to welcome to a remarkable team, three executive-level managers. I am resolute that they will make significant and long-lasting contributions to Emirates Palace, given their proven track records in their respective fields.”

With strategic partnerships and efforts to further promote the hotel’s pre-eminence as a MICE and leisure destination, Anna Olsson will play her part as a crucial resource with over seventeen years in the industry in the Middle East, Asia and Europe. She brings to the team great leadership, an influential network from over five years in Dubai and significant business acumen, having delivered on key financial and market positioning objectives in her last role as Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing and in similar roles she has held with other leading luxury brands.

Chef Stefan brings to bear an innate passion and a great wealth of knowledge in running large operations and in concept design to continue to maintain Emirates Palace’s positioning in the area of fine dining. With an illustrious career spanning over twenty years in premier hotels and restaurants in his native Switzerland and around the world, Chef Stefan will continue to consistently inspire the palates of discerning guests with avant-garde creations that are both visually stimulating and delightfully flavourful. His many accolades include the ‘Schweizer Star Im Ausland’ (Swiss Star Abroad) from the prestigious Gault & Millau which he received in 2015.

Stefan Trepp and José Medronho join Emirates Palace at an important time, with plans underway to introduce new concepts and cuisines to maintain the novelty of the hotel’s restaurant offerings. With over fourteen outlets; a team of over 100 chefs and over 200 team members in F&B, “Emirates Palace maintains its position in the market – a fine dining destination with a melting pot of fares, and we will continue to push boundaries in this area” said Holger Schroth. Having served in the capacity of Executive Assistant Manager in the Middle East, Europe and South America, Mr. Medronho is a seasoned food and beverage expert with over twenty years of experience in defining strategies for several openings and driving impressive bottom line success without compromising on exceptional service quality.
