Millennium & Copthorne International Limited (MCIL) is proud to announce the appointment of Mr Cetin Sekercioglu as President, Asia.
Headquartered in Singapore, MCIL is the Asian arm of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc (M&C).
With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr Sekercioglu has a distinguished career in hotel management internationally. He has lived and worked in many parts of the world including Singapore, Turkey, America, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand. He speaks English, Turkish, French, German, Italian, Spanish and little Mandarin. Prior to joining MCIL, he was the Executive Vice President of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, South East Asia and Oceania Hub.
In his role as President, Asia, Cetin will provide leadership and strategic direction for the entire Asia team, with the objective of delivering maximum business growth and profitability for the group.
Listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1996, M&C is a global hotel company that owns, asset manages and/or operates a worldwide portfolio of over 120 hotels under three collections: Leng’s, Millennium, and Copthorne – throughout Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & North Africa, and North America.
