The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore makes two senior appointments

The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore has appointed Andreas Kohn as Director of Sales & Marketing and Fabien Gastinel as Executive Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage.

No stranger to The Ritz-Carlton family, Andreas Kohn was the Director of Sales & Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore from 2007 to 2012. Under his leadership, he led the hotel through its record-breaking years.

In 2012, Andreas left to join the Viceroy Hotel Group in Abu Dhabi as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, and was most recently with the Mandarin Oriental Singapore as Director of Sales & Marketing. With his return to The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, Andreas will oversee the Sales & Marketing division which encompasses corporate sales, wholesale, MICE, catering, conference services, marketing and public relations, revenue management and reservations.

An experienced and highly engaged Sales & Marketing leader with a proven track record, Andreas started his career with the Marriott International Group and possesses over 20 years of experience working for luxury hospitality brands across key markets in Central Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

An avid triathlete, Andreas hails from Hamburg, Germany, and is fluent in his native tongue, French and English.

As Executive Assistant Manager for Food & Beverage, Fabien is responsible for the Food & Beverage operations of the hotel’s restaurants, in-room dining, banqueting, and overseas Food & Beverage promotions and restaurant reservations.

A hotelier passionate about the industry, Fabien possesses extensive hospitality experience garnered across four continents with upscale luxury brands such as Shangri-La and Armani. He most recently served as Executive Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage at The Oberoi Hotel in Dubai.

Fabien commenced his career with the Accor Group in 1999. From 2004 to 2008, he was with the Shangri-La Group as Restaurant & Bar Manager in Singapore and Assistant Food & Beverage Director in Shanghai. He joined Kempinski Sanya as Director of Food & Beverage in 2008. In 2010, Fabien was part of the opening team of the Armani Hotel in Dubai where he managed 13 outlets before joining the Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv, Ukraine in January 2012 as Director of Operations.

Originally from Saint-Tropez in France, Fabien is fluent in French, Spanish and English.
