Spire Hospitality adds three executives to corporate team

Spire Hospitality continues to expand their corporate team with the announcement that names Dick Turner as vice president of operations, Dennis Lanners as vice president of food & beverage, and Tim Corder as regional director of sales & marketing.

“The addition of this group of leaders to very important areas of our business significantly advances Spire’s management systems and breadth of resources,” says CEO & President of Spire Hospitality, Bill DeForrest. “Bringing in exceedingly sharp and experienced industry talent aligns with our strategic plan for the development of our portfolio.”

Dick Turner joins the Spire Hospitality team as vice president of operations, overseeing the hotel operations and fiscal responsibilities for a group of Spire Hospitality’s hotels. Turner’s 40-year career has included experience working with legendary hoteliers and hotel management brands including Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Sunstone Hotel Investors, Davidson Hotels & Resorts, Pyramid Hotel Group, LLC and Radisson Hotels. Previously, Turner founded Auctus Hospitality Partners, offering management and consulting services to hotel companies and owners.

Responsible for conceiving, developing and implementing creative food & beverage concepts and coordinating programs for restaurant, room service and catering activities throughout the Spire Hospitality portfolio, Lanners joins the executive talent as vice president of food & beverage. Lanners boasts more than 35 years of food & beverage and operational experience with proven results in both hotel restaurant and freestanding restaurant and bar concepts. Prior to joining Spire Hospitality, Lanners served as vice president of food & beverage for Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. and vice president of operations for Highgate Hotels.

Tim Corder joins the Spire Hospitality team as regional director of sales & marketing with proven success in property brand repositioning, leadership, training and revenue production. With over 20 years of industry experience, Corder previously served as taskforce director of sales & marketing for Interstate Hotels and Resorts where he provided effective sales and marketing leadership during hotel transitions and hotel management changes. Corder is a celebrated industry veteran with Awards of Excellence from Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotel & Resorts and MeriStar Hospitality Corporation.
