Menique De La Rosa appointed Rosewood’s Regional Spa Director for the Caribbean

Menique De La Rosa has been appointed Regional Spa Director for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and Spa Director at Rosewood Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda, BVI.  De La Rosa is the second Regional Spa Director for the ultra-luxury hotel group.

In her new role as Regional Spa Director, De La Rosa will oversee high-level operations and guide the vision for Rosewood’s Caribbean spas at properties including Rosewood Tucker’s Point (Bermuda), Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort (Antigua, West Indies) and Rosewood at Baha Mar (The Bahamas). Additionally, as spa director of the award-winning Sense spa at Rosewood Little Dix Bay, De La Rosa will bring an even greater focus to Rosewood’s A Sense of Place philosophy. She has already begun developing innovative new treatments that incorporate meditation, breathing exercises and yoga and is working to grow a more diverse spa garden that will include locally harvested botanicals.

De La Rosa joins the Rosewood Little Dix Bay team with over ten years of experience in luxury resort spas. A Rosewood veteran, De La Rosa was most recently the Spa Director at Rosewood Tucker’s Point in Bermuda, where she oversaw the property’s Sense spa and Fitness Center.

Previously, De La Rosa led efforts at the Day Spa at The Observatory Hotel by Orient Express in Sydney, Australia. During her tenure as director of spa & health club, the Day Spa became Sydney’s most awarded spa. She has also served as spa director at The Langham in Sydney, the InterContinental Sanya Resort in Hainan, China, and Hayman Island Resort in Australia. An Australian native, De La Rosa is most comfortable in the outdoors and enjoys water sports and sailing in her spare time.
