François-Régis Simon moves to GM of The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat

François-Régis SimonThe Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel, announces the appointment of François-Régis Simon as General Manager, effective May 8, 2015.

Originally from Brittany in northern France, Simon’s career with Four Seasons began at the legendary Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris in the role of Assistant Director of Room Service. Over the next few years he climbed the ranks through the food and beverage department, and was appointed Director of Food and Beverage in 2007.

Simon’s career next took him to another flagship property, Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, where he took on the role of Director of Food and Beverage at the Hotel, home to the first Chinese restaurant ever to be awarded three Michelin stars, Lung King Heen, and the Michelin two-starred Caprice.

Simon’s Asian adventure continued a few kilometres to the north of Hong Kong in the heart of modern China when he joined the pre-opening team of Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen as Hotel Manager.

And now, Simon’s journey is bringing him back to Europe and to a new home in the Côte d’Azur, where he is taking the reigns as General Manager at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel.
