Kata Rocks appoints two new managers

Sandy RobsonPhuket’s new futuristic luxury resort Kata Rocks has promoted Sandy Robson (right) to Resort Manager; previously she held the role of Guest Experience Director. She will be charged with overseeing the daily operations, liaising with owners and ensuring unique personalized delivery of guest experiences across Kata Rocks.

General Manager Scot Toon explained, “It is fantastic to be able to promote someone from inside our team to this important role. This is inline with our company values of striving to develop and train our team members to improve ourselves, our product and experiences”.

Josh Mitchell1Joining the team as Food & Beverage Manager is Josh Mitchell (left). Originally from the United Kingdom where he studied International Hospitality Management he moved to Thailand in 2011. He brings to Kata Rocks excellent F&B Operations experience gained from management positions on the island including Operations Manager of ZAZADA Beach Club and General Manager of Breeze at Cape Yamu Restaurant.

The restaurant and bar at Kata Rocks is already getting well known on the island for its dining and imbibing and looks to passionately drive the culinary experiences further in the future. “Josh is passionate, talented and innovative which will further evolve what we have begun here,” commented Scot Toon General Manager.
