Aventura resort, Turnberry Isle Miami, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Klein as Vice President and Managing Director. Klein, an almost eight-year Turnberry Associates executive who was serving as Vice President of Operations for the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, was hand-selected for the role.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Klein will bring his exceptional leadership skills and established luxury hospitality expertise to Turnberry Isle Miami, allowing the resort to continue delivering unprecedented service and programming to guests and club members.

“I am thrilled to work alongside Turnberry Isle Miami’s accomplished leadership team to continue providing exceptional levels of service and delivering the best guest experience possible,” said Klein. “My goal is to support the Soffer family’s vision for the resort as a premier golf and leisure destination in South Florida.”

In his new expanded role, Klein will be responsible for managing all aspects of the 300-acre resort, including Turnberry’s two championship golf courses, the Spa & Fitness Center, on-property meetings and conventions, and food and beverage operations which include celebrity chef restaurants Corsair by Scott Conant and Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina. Klein will work closely with the resort’s senior executive team to oversee day-to-day operations and drive the property’s continued growth, supporting Turnberry’s long-term goals.

Prior to joining Turnberry Isle Miami, Klein was part of the executive team that relaunched the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. He played an integral role in developing the hotel’s multi-million dollar food and beverage operation which includes several prominent restaurants such as Scarpetta, Hakkasan, StripSteak by Michael Mina and Michael Mina 74, and building a team of more than 1,200 employees. Prior to Fontainebleau, he spent seven years with Loews Hotels, holding vital leadership roles such as Director of Food and Beverage, Restaurant Manager, Banquet Manager and Director of Guest Services, where he honed his management and problem-solving skills.

A New Jersey native, Klein moved to South Florida in 1999 but has had deep roots in the local community since childhood. His grandmother was a club member at Turnberry Isle Miami in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and he recalls many fond memories of the club.

“Turnberry Isle Miami and the City of Aventura hold a deep personal connection for me and I am passionate about ensuring that Turnberry continues to grow and thrive for many more years to come,” states Klein.
