Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa has announced that Andrew den Oudsten has recently been appointed as the resort’s new general manager.
Mr. den Oudsten is an Australian national and brings with him over 17 years of extensive experience in hotel management. Having previously worked in Canada, the United Arab Emirates, China, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Australia, he is has been all over the world. Now, for the first time, Mr. den Oudsten is making Kota Kinabalu his current city of residence by joining Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa as the general manager.
His most recent post was serving as the hotel manager of Makati Shangri-La, Manila.
“I am thrilled to be joining the remarkable team at Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa and very happy to be here with my family in Sabah, the Land Below The Wind. My team and I will continue to ensure that Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa is Sabah’s premier luxury resort,” said Mr. den Oudsten.
