New Steigenberger Dubai office staffed with three key execs

Steigenberger Hotel GroupSteigenberger is pursuing a strategy of expansion that in particular also extends to the Middle East and Asia. At an office that has just opened in Dubai, Siegfried Nierhaus, Andrea Werner and Monica Mascaros are all taking on a key representative role with regard to the further development of the group.

In his capacity as Vice President for the Middle East and Asia, Siegfried Nierhaus is heading up the expert team as well as being responsible for strategic alignment. After 25 years in the branch, including ten years spent in the Middle East, he brings significant experience in the development and management of hotel projects to the table.

Monica Mascaros’s remit as Hotel Development Advisor encompasses the identification and development of new hotel projects, negotiation and development of new locations and management of relations with hotel investors and owners. She is able to look back at more than 15 years of experience in company development and in project acquisition in Europe and the Middle East.

As Regional Director of Sales for the Middle East, Andrea Werner will be focusing on raising awareness in the region of the three Steigenberger Hotel Group brands – Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts, InterCityHotels and Jaz in the City – and on the development of outbound sales of the hotels in Europe. Ms. Werner has been in Dubai since 2007 and has worked for various German companies and organisations.
