Joanna Ong new VP Corporate Communications for Hilton Worldwide Asia Pacific

Hilton Worldwide has appointed Joanna Ong as Vice President of Corporate Communications in Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, Joanna will oversee internal and external communications strategies for Hilton Worldwide and its portfolio of brands in Asia Pacific and in this capacity, she will lead corporate and brand communications for the region.

Joanna has 18 years of experience in communications, joining Hilton Worldwide from Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group where she was Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to Carlson Rezidor, Joanna was the Director with Urban Scoop Consultancy, a communications agency that included international hotel groups among its client accounts. Her previous roles include Senior Corporate Affairs Manager at Standard Chartered Bank and Communications Manager Asia Pacific with InterContinental Hotels Group.

A Singaporean national, Joanna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, majoring in Communications Studies & Comparative Literature, from Murdoch University in Western Australia.
