Frances Gonzalez promoted to VP Operations for Latin America at Carlson Rezidor

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has promoted Frances Gonzalez to Vice President, Operations, Latin America. Gonzalez previously served as senior regional director of Operations in Latin America and will report directly to Javier Rosenberg, chief operating officer and executive vice president, Americas and will be based in Miami.

“Frances will play a key role for us as we look to accelerate the growth of our brands throughout Latin America,” said Rosenberg. “She will oversee all aspects of operations along with owner relations, hotels performance, and compliance.”

Gonzalez joined Carlson Rezidor in 2001 as a district director, and was promoted to her current role in 2012.  Prior to that, she was based at a Radisson franchised hotel where she held several roles including hotel trainee, front desk manager and director of sales.

Last month the company announced it had entered into a definitive agreement to resume direct Radisson brand development for Latin America from Royal Hotels International Inc. (Royal). The acquisition includes two management contracts in Chile for Radisson Petra La Dehesa and Radisson Petra Concepcion and the first managed operations for the Carlson Rezidor in Latin America. With over 50 hotels in operation and under development in Latin America, the company has a strong presence across its brands, including a leading position in Brazil and Chile.
