Sejong Park new GM at Residence Inn Cranbury South Brunswick

Sejong ParkMarriott International is proud to announce Sejong Park as the new General manager of Residence Inn Cranbury South Brunswick.

Beginning his career with Marriott in 2001, Park served as a guest service agent at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe in New Jersey. From there, he was promoted to the front desk supervisor position before accepting the role of operations and assistant front desk manager at the LaGuardia Airport Marriot.

In 2005, Park joined the sales and marketing team at the JW Marriott Seoul as a sales executive where he gained a vast knowledge of the sales and marketing, continuing to expand his skill set and experience in the industry.

Park then returned to New Jersey in 2007, accepting the position of assistant general manager at the Residence Inn Cranbury South Brunswick. Under the guidance of the general manager, Park further developed his leadership skills and knowledge of the extended-stay brand.

Park’s loyalty to the brand continued in 2011 when he joined the Residence Inn Parsippany team as general manager. In this role, he led the hotel to produce outstanding results in guest satisfaction, associate engagement and financial performance. Park’s accomplishments include a 2014 AES Overall Satisfaction score of 86% and in 2013, exceeded house profit by 33.6% and exceeded total sales by 17.6%.

Returning to Residence Inn Cranbury South Brunswick, Park accepted the position of General Manager.

“It’s an honor to be back with a team I’ve learned and grown so much with,” said Park. “I have real roots with Marriott and I plan to continue to work hard and stay dedicated to exceeding guests’ expectations.”
