Hampton by Hilton announces opening of first hotel in Panama


Hampton by Hilton continues its international expansion by announcing the opening of its first hotel in Panama. Hampton by Hilton Panama, a 108-room, new-build hotel managed by Hilton Worldwide, joins the global brand of more than 1,900 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites and Hampton by Hilton hotels, as the company’s fifth hotel in Panama.

Situated in downtown Panama City, this new Hampton by Hilton hotel is 20 minutes from Tocumen International Airport and close to financial and commercial services, as well as multiple shopping options. Nearby attractions for leisure guests also include the Panama Canal and the Miraflores Locks, Casco Viejo and the Biodiversity Museum.

The 15-story property is the city’s newest hotel and offers visitors comfortable and contemporary mid-priced accommodation, combined with the renowned quality of Hampton by Hilton hotels and featuring the brand’s signature offerings: a stylish Perfect Mix lobby, complimentary Wi-Fi and the unconditional 100% Hampton Guarantee. Guests will enjoy modern, comfortable rooms featuring the Clean and Fresh Hampton Bed.

The hotel is designed and styled to appeal to both business and leisure travelers, offering best-in-class service and comfort.  It offers a fitness center with state-of-the-art Precor equipment, rooftop outdoor swimming pool and a poolside bar.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily at the lobby restaurant and additional amenities include a complimentary hot breakfast, a 24-hour snack area and a bar area with evening dining options to help guests connect after meetings.

Business amenities at this new Hampton by Hilton hotel include a boardroom and a meeting room, as well as a 24-hour business center with modern work stations and office supplies available to guests.

Hilton Worldwide currently has five hotels in Panama and a portfolio of 65 hotels and resorts open and welcoming travelers throughout Latin America.  The company has plans to continue expanding throughout the region.
