Sonny Ang appointed head of Sales & Marketing for Marco Polo – Hong Kong

sonny angMarco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Sonny Ang as Head of Sales & Marketing, effective November 3, 2014.

Sonny is a seasoned hotelier with over 25 years of hospitality experience in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and Mainland China. His most recent positions were the Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Himalayas Hotels & Communities and General Manager of Himalayas Qingdao Hotel (Himalayas is the owning company of Jumeirah Shanghai). Prior to that, Sonny held executive positions at a number of well-known hotels including Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels Group, Le Royal Meridien Shanghai, Hilton International and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.

In his new role as Head of Sales & Marketing for Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong, Sonny will lead and oversee the strategic direction and implementation of marketing and communication efforts to support business growth and profitability for the Marco Polo Hongkong, Gateway and Prince Hotels.
