Marcel Eichenberger new Director of Operations at Rosewood CordeValle

Marcel Eichenberger_1Rosewood CordeValle in San Martin, CA is pleased to announce that Marcel Eichenberger has been appointed director of operations.  In his new role, Mr. Eichenberger will oversee the operations of the northern California luxury resort, including its 45 rooms and suites, three signature dining venues, Sense spa and championship golf course. 

Mr. Eichenberger joins Rosewood CordeValle after more than 13 years of management and training experience in the luxury hospitality industry.  Most recently, he held the position of executive assistant manager at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa, where he worked directly with the general manager overseeing the hotel operation. Prior to that, Mr. Eichenberger held management roles at the Fancourt Hotel & Estate in George, South Africa, serving as the conferencing and banqueting manager before being promoted to food and beverage director.

Eichenberger holds several degrees in business and hospitality, including a dual major in business administration and hotel management from Northwood University in Montreux, Switzerland, and a Swiss Higher Diploma in American Hotel and Lodging Association from the Hotel Institute of Montreux.
