The Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed Joep Peeters as Senior Vice President Franchised Services, effective immediately. Peeters, a Dutch national, is based at Rezidor’s Head Office in Brussels, Belgium and reports to Olivier Harnisch, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer.
“I am delighted to welcome Joep Peeters to Rezidor. His extensive expertise in the world of hospitality and franchising will be instrumental in further developing this critical area of our business”, said Olivier Harnisch. “Franchising remains our second most important development vehicle besides management agreements. Building on a strong foundation, we want to establish Rezidor as one of the preferred franchise partners in EMEA”, added Harnisch.

Peeters joins Rezidor from Westbridge Europe where he held the position of Managing Director, responsible for all day-to-day activities, operating multiple properties under a variety of brands – amongst them 18 IHG hotels in ten Western European countries. He was also a board member of the IHG Europe Owners’ Association.
