Martin Cody now Lodge Manager at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti

Martin Cody has been named Lodge Manager at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, the 77-room Lodge that has offered guests African wildlife and cultural experiences since December 2012.

Cody, a true explorer at heart who’s been a member of Four Seasons Hotels and Resort teams in London, Hawaii, Langkawi and the Maldives since 2001, brings unique insights from working in stunning remote locations and a warm, team-oriented approach to his new role in the Serengeti, one of the world’s last wild places that is home to elephants, cheetahs, lions and even notoriously hard-to-spot leopards.

Cody will oversee all operations of the Lodge, which includes a two-story great house with guest rooms and suites as well as five free-standing villas, all with stunning views of the Serengeti landscape. Ideal for couples and families, the Lodge is one of the first on the continent to welcome children ages six and older, a significant milestone for families with young ones and teens.

He joined the team at Landaa Giraavaru in October 2010 following his six-month tenure as Assistant Director of Rooms with Four Seasons Resort Langkawi at the edge of the rainforest in Malaysia, where he was responsible for front office, housekeeping and recreation department operations.
