DoubleTree by Hilton enters China’s Qinghai Province

Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton have announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Qinghai-Golmud. Sitting in the foothills of the Kunlun Mountain Pass on the Tibetan Plateau, the 112-room hotel is the first internationally-branded hotel in Golmud.

The contemporary hotel is located in the south of the city center, just five kilometers from Golmud Railway Station and 25 kilometers from Golmud Airport, offering easy access to attractions such as Chaerhan Salt Lake, Huyang Forest and the snow-covered Geladandong Peak. The hotel is operated by Hilton Worldwide and owned by Qinghai Zhonghao Natural Gas Chemical Co., Ltd.

Weddings, business conferences and other social events may be held in the spacious grand ballroom, three flexible meeting rooms or the outdoor courtyard, all featuring the latest A/V technology. The hotel offers the Meetings Simplified by DoubleTree by Hilton package from $45 (RMB 268) per person, which includes the meeting room, basic meeting WiFi, meeting room supplies including a flipchart, markers, extension and power cord, and all day non-alcoholic beverage service.
