Hyatt Place Savannah Airport celebrates official opening

Hyatt Place_2Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Hotel Equities have opened the Hyatt Place Savannah Airport. The 81-room hotel is located two miles from the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport and a short distance from historic downtown Savannah.

“We are delighted to bring the Hyatt Place brand to the Savannah area with the opening of Hyatt Place Savannah Airport,” said Joe Reardon, vice president of marketing and business development for Hotel Equities. “Hyatt Place was designed for a lifestyle, not a demographic, and as a result, we are confident that everyone from business travelers to family vacationers will appreciate the open, intuitive design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food offerings.”

The hotel’s prime location also provides guests with easy access to a wide variety of entertainment options, including the national Mighty Eight Air Force Museum, popular with history and military enthusiasts, a movie complex with an IMAX theater and several indoor recreation centers.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests to the new hotel and show them the authentic hospitality and purposeful service for which Hyatt Place is known,” said general manager Kyenna Hamilton. “We’re confident that the brand’s amenities, coupled with the hotel’s close proximity to the airport and entertainment venues, is exactly what our guests are seeking.”
