Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks have appointed a new Head of Hospitality and Leisure to support business banking customers across the UK.
Shona Pushpaharan has more than 14 years’ of experience in the banking sector and has spent the last eight years specialising in supporting hotel and leisure businesses.
Shona’s appointment strengthens Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks’ commitment to the hospitality and leisure sector.
She will be based in London and will lead a team in key regions and cities across the country, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and London.
Shona said: “The industry faced many challenges during the recession but the outlook for the sector is positive, there is momentum and we are looking at a more favourable environment. With optimism among the industry’s companies growing, it’s an exciting time to be involved in hospitality and leisure. I am looking forward to using my knowledge and passion to enhance our reputation in the sector and meet growing demand for our services across the UK.”
