Le Méridien Cyberport in Hong Kong is to be the first hotel in the city to offer guests allergy-friendly PURE floor and guest rooms treated by PURE Global.
Millions of travelers are affected by different kinds of allergies and Hong Kong has experienced some of the highest pollutant counts around the year. The PURE Floor and Rooms at Le Méridien Cyberport are introduced to create an allergy-friendly and healthy alternative to guests. Travelers who suffer from allergies and asthma or chemical sensitivities can now enjoy a “pure” experience with the cleanest and freshest air in their rooms, with a more restful sleep during their stay.
The PURE floor and guest rooms are inspected, treated and certified to meet the strict standards qualifying this as a PURE Allergy Friendly Room. The PURE room gives guests tangible results:
1. Relief from allergies and mild respiratory issues, including coughing, sneezing, sniffing and watery eyes
2. More sound sleep and wake up refreshed
3. Breathing of clean, crisp, ultra-fresh air, thereby enhancing the relaxation and recuperation that people expect from work or vacation
4. No chemicals nor lingering odours – PURE’s cleaning solutions are completely invisible to eyes, smell and touch
A seven-step Patented PURE Room Treatment Process are implemented to remove allergens and irritants from all surfaces, fabrics and air flow, resulting in a room that is up to 98% free of bacteria, viruses and impurities including dust from the air:
1. Carpet and upholstery sanitation using all natural plant based PURE Clean TM
2. One time, shock treatment of entire room to minimize bacteria and mold
3. Complete sanitation and treatment of air-handling unit
4. Installation of Tea Tree Oil Cartridge in air-handling unit
5. Application of PURE Shield TM anti-microbial treatment
6. Installation of Hypo-Allergenic pillow and mattress encasements
7. Installation of air purification system (Class II Medical device)
To maintain the PURE conditions in the guest rooms, a state-of-the-art air purification system is installed in each room to create air quality that averages four times cleaner than the threshold necessary for asthma patients.
