Keio Plaza Hotel offers Hello Kitty rooms

Not to be outdone by the Barbie room at the Hilton Buenos Aires, the Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo & Keio Plaza Hotel Tama (KPH) will soon unveil “Hello Kitty Rooms”. The special guest rooms will be decorated with the popular character “Hello Kitty”, from the walls and furniture to the amenities. Developed in partnership with Sanrio Company, KPH will produce two different types of “Hello Kitty Rooms,” offering Hello Kitty fans lodging in a dream world. kitty_town“Hello Kitty” is one of the most popular Japanese characters, loved by many people around the world, from children to Hollywood celebrities. This year, Hello Kitty will celebrate her 40th birthday on November 1st.

The “KITTY TOWN” room motif features cheerful décor, designed by KPH’s dedicated designers, with the overall theme of Hello Kitty’s holidays in Tokyo, an urban resort. The room depicts the world superstar, Hello Kitty, having fun at an amusement park and enjoying shopping with her friends and family. Keio Plaza Hotel created the rooms for its guests to relive their childhood again in dreams with Hello Kitty. The “PRINCESS KITTY” room is designed along the concept that this is the princess’ room, where she spends her private relaxing time among her favorites.
