sáv Hospitality Limited, the hotel management brand of Hong Kong’s Chuang’s Consortium International Limited, has obtained the rights to manage the Pacific Cebu Resort located in the Philippines diving paradise of Cebu. The group is transforming the resort with a brand new look as well as a refreshing hospitality experience for guests.
Investing in a service upgrade
A popular resort destination in the Philippines, the coral island of Cebu is also a perfect destination for divers. Pacific Cebu Resort is one of the largest resorts in Cebu, earning frequent recommendations by tourists and divers from all over the world.
Spotting even greater untapped potential, sáv Hospitality Limited made the decision in 2013 to invest in the resort. After assuming management rights, sáv Hospitality Limited has undertaken a series of extensive renovations to upgrade rooms and other facilities — a transformation that now offers guests an exciting new hospitality experience.
One of the largest resorts in the region, Pacific Cebu Resort is located on Cebu’s Mactan Island, just a half hour ride from Cebu International Airport. The island’s rich coral resources make it a popular paradise for divers.
Commanding an expansive 6.5 hectares of seafront property, the resort comprises 135 guest rooms, including 20 villas, 115 standard rooms and suites. The resort’s pristine private beach stretches over 200 meters, offering a diverse array of water sports and activities. The PADI Gold Palm Diving Center welcomes guests to explore the natural wonders of the Pacific Ocean with one-stop dive training services and facilities, including a private diving pool.
A fresh look following renovation
The first phase of the resort’s renovation was recently completed in July, comprising major improvement works for the 112 standard rooms, restaurant, swimming pools, gymnasium, gift shop, kids club, function rooms, tennis court and basketball court. The hotel beach front has also received a makeover, enhancing the tropical holiday atmosphere for all guests. The next phase of renovation will be completed in 2015 to provide guests with an even more premium experience.
Host to the Miss Scuba Philippines 2014 competition
More than just the perfect destination for a sun soaked getaway, the Pacific Cebu Resort is also a host venue for large-scale events. The first major international event happening is the Miss Scuba Philippines competition scheduled on 26 September 2014. The winner, selected from 12 finalists, will go on to represent the Philippines at this year’s Miss Scuba International contest to be held in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia on 28 November. Winners of the international pageants will participate in educational activities to promote public awareness of marine conservation and environmental protection issues. Pacific Cebu Resort is honored to serve as this year’s organizer, and to promote this important vision of a sustainable future.
