of Sébastien Quazzola_2Le Richemond part of Dorchester Collection, announces the appointment of Sébastien Quazzola as the new pastry chef at Le Jardin. He brings his passion and experience to the kitchen at the regionally acclaimed Mediterranean restaurant located on the picturesque shores of Lake Geneva.

At a young age, French born chef Quazzola worked at his parents’ restaurant in Savoie where his father was an executive chef. Quazzola was encouraged to continue developing these skills in a two-year apprenticeship with Pascal Claret, an acclaimed pastry chef in the area. After graduating with a vocational training certificate and diploma, Quazzola started working for the one Michelin star restaurant, L’auberge Lamartine in Savoie under Pierre Marin. The team at L’auberge Lamartine became a second family and it was there Quazzola built the foundations of his culinary practice.

Quazzola then worked at Chabichou, a two Michelin star restaurant in Courchevel with Michel Rochedy and after two years, worked at l’Auberge Les Morainières in Savoie, another Michelin-starred restaurant right before he joined Le Richemond.

Commenting on his appointment, the 27-year old pastry chef says: “For me, being a pastry chef is about creating an exquisite moment and evoking emotions to bring back a certain memory. I am really excited to be a part of this team and share my passion with Le Richemond’s guests.”
