The career of Anthony Cleary, the new General Manager at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa, has come full circle with his return to the Snowy Mountains after operating some of Australia’s most iconic hotels.
In a distinguished 30-year management career, Mr Cleary has led hotel teams and product development in General Manager roles at Thredbo, Perisher Valley, Hamilton Island and Ayers Rock, among others.
“It is great to be back in the Snowy Mountains and I am very excited about my new position at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa,” said Mr Cleary.
“In recent years, I have watched Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa go from strength to strength in terms of its business success, dedication to customer service and its diverse range of special events.
“My experience in remote seasonal resorts means I fully understand the dynamic nature of the business; particularly the impact snow conditions can have on future bookings and the need to make the destination have appeal year-round.”
Mr Cleary said he is looking forward to catching up with old friends and colleagues in the region and to introduce new audiences to the splendor of the Snowy Mountains and the outstanding service and facilities at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa.
“On a personal note, I can’t wait to rediscover my passion for the mountains, the amazing winter and summer environs and the endless activities that the Snowy Mountains has to offer,” said Mr Cleary.
