Pan Pacific Hotels Group is pleased to announce the appointments of Erik Anderouard as Senior Vice President, Operations and Timur Senturk as Vice President, Operations, ASEAN, a move that will effectively strengthen the Group’s Operations structure.
A dual French-American citizen, Erik (pictured right) joins the Group with over 30 years of operations and corporate management experience in Europe and the Americas.
In his new role, Erik will be responsible for the operational performance, systems management and development, as well as maintenance of service quality standards across the Group’s portfolio of 40 “Pan Pacific” and PARKROYAL hotels and resorts in Asia, Oceania, North America and Europe.
Erik enjoyed a rewarding 29-year tenure with Accor where he notably held the positions of Senior Vice President, Operations and COO, Americas for Sofitel hotels; Vice President and General Manager of New York City Hotels; as well as General Manager of Sofitel hotels in Paris, San Francisco and New York. As a member of Sofitel Worldwide Executive Committee, Erik also played an instrumental role in the repositioning of the Sofitel brand.
Most recently, Erik was Vice President, Hotel Operations at U.S. real estate investment and management company, United Capital Corp, overseeing all operational aspects in the U.S and leading the due diligence process for hotel acquisitions.
Meanwhile, as Vice President, Operations, ASEAN, Timur (pictured right) will oversee the Group’s owned and/or managed properties in the region, currently comprising 14 “Pan Pacific” and PARKROYAL hotels and resorts in six countries.
A passionate German-Turkish hotelier with a career spanning over 25 years, Timur has held senior operations roles in Asia, USA and Europe with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Hyatt Hotels and The Savoy Group.
Most significantly, Timur was General Manager of Ritz-Carlton hotels in the USA and China during a successful 12-year term with the company. His operational expertise and attention to detail eventually led him to become appointed a corporate opening trainer for 10 hotels. He was also a certified speaker at The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Institute, providing corporate leadership training and development programs across a wide spectrum of industries.
Prior to his current appointment, Timur represented Interstate China Hotels & Resorts as Managing Director, leading the development of J Hotel Shanghai Tower, China’s future tallest ultra-luxury hotel.
“Based at the Group’s headquarters in Singapore, Erik and Timur are integral additions to our corporate management team. As industry veterans, both of them bring on board an accumulated wealth of operations acumen as well as a proven track record of ably forging positive owners’ relationships and driving all aspects of operations to achieve well-rounded, sustainable results.” says Bernold O.
