Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place, set to open this fall as Jupiter’s newest upscale hotel, recently announced the appointment of Elena Peroulakis as director of sales and marketing, responsible for driving business through sales and marketing efforts for the 179-room hotel.
In this role, Peroulakis will oversee all aspects of the sales department with a goal of strengthening the new hotel’s sales team and developing client relationships. With 19 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience, Peroulakis’ proven knowledge of the hospitality sales industry and deep roots in the greater Palm Beach community will be advantageous in the hotel’s efforts to collaborate with key local markets and customers.
“Elena’s expertise and community involvement will be the driving force behind our sales team,” said Matthew Boris, general manager of Wyndham Grand Jupiter. “Her guidance and sales direction will be paramount in Wyndham Grand Jupiter’s success, not only as it prepares for opening, but also as the hotel becomes an active member of the Jupiter community.”
Peroulakis has extensive experience in the field, particularly in Florida, and has served as director of sales and marketing for two Marriott Residence Inns (Boca Raton and Plantation, FL) the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), and the DoubleTree by Hilton and Executive Meeting Center (Palm Beach Gardens, FL). Most recently, she led the sales and marketing team at Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa.
Peroulakis earned a higher national diploma in hotel, restaurant and catering management from the Higher Hotel Institute of Cyprus, after which she moved to the United States to pursue a second bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the Florida International University. She also has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami.
Peroulakis is actively involved with local organizations such as the Junior League of the Palm Beaches and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Palm Beach County, where she recently earned the Woman of the Year title for her efforts to raise more than $87,000 in ten weeks for the cause.
