Brian Lee new Executive Chef at JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead

Brian Lee This August JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead welcomed Brian Lee to its team. Lee is now the hotel’s Executive Chef, bringing more than 19 years of culinary experience within a luxury hotel setting. Previously, he was at Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter conveying the concepts for the hotel’s signature restaurant, Portico.

Chef Lee attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School in California and began his early career as a Lead Line Cook at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort, a AAA Five Diamond and Mobil Five-Star resort. He then headed to Chef’s Garden and Culinary Vegetable Institute in Huron, OH, which opened many doors in his early career. Lee also spent time studying culinary innovations and perfecting his fundamentals under Maitres Cuisiniers de France, Executive Chef Frederic Castan, and Master Chef Jonathan Jerusalmy.

His other luxury hotel expertise includes the St. Regis Atlanta where he was the Executive Sous Chef and St. Regis San Francisco, where he worked under Maitres Cuisiniers de France, Executive Chef Romuald Feger before returning to Atlanta as the Executive Chef of Le Meridien.

With his appreciation for fine dining and skillful artistry for presentation, Chef Lee thrives on challenging the ordinary and masterfully intertwines classic global dishes with enticing European and Asian flavors.
