The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village is proud to announce the appointments of two new team members, Steve Sanabria as director of operations and Nadine Smith as director of human resources. Both Sanabria and Smith bring years of experience with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and leadership skills that inspire high performance of staff members.
In his new role as director of operations, Sanabria will administer and manage the hotel’s operating departments, maintaining Starwood’s quality standards. A former practicing attorney, Sanabria began his Starwood career in 2000 and was most recently the director of six sigma and director of retail at The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, FL.
“Steve Sanabria’s in-depth knowledge of hotel operations specializing in process improvement and strategic planning make him an excellent leader of our team,” said General Manager Eric Ashton, “I’m honored to have Steve as an integral part of my team at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village.”
Smith has over eight years of experience in human resources working with sister Starwood properties within the state such as Sheraton Suites Cypress Creek, The St. Regis in Fort Lauderdale, Sheraton Bal Harbour, and most recently W South Beach. As director of human resources at the waterfront resort, she will manage all recruitment, hiring, benefits, training and employee relations.
