Real Hospitality Group opens Home2 Suites Long Island City

Executives at Real Hospitality Group (RHG) announced they have opened the new Home2 Suites by Hilton Long Island City – Manhattan View.  The Grand Opening Celebration marks this hotel as the first of the brand, part of the Hilton family of hotels, to open in Long Island City, New York and the first all-suite extended stay hotel in the area.

The 10-story, 115-suite hotel boasts views of Manhattan and is located at 39-06 30th Street, only one block from the NQ 39th Ave subway stop. The hotel offers easy access to international restaurants and is just minutes from Manhattan and the legendary landmarks of New York City. The hotel is owned by LIC Hotel Properties LLC, an affiliate of RadSon Development. Jacob Rad, and his wife, Sandy cut the ribbon to mark the launch of the hotel. The construction of the project was overseen and managed by their son Daniel. The room layouts and size offer a unique competitive edge, and the services are ideal for business and leisure guests with extended visits to the New York City area.

The hotel offers easy access to technology and inviting community spaces, as well as the trademark Home2 Suites amenities standard in all properties, such as the Oasis lobby area, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, the Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry and fitness area, and complimentary continental breakfast at the Inspired Table that includes a variety of morning favorites like a hot breakfast sandwich. In addition, the hotel offers a media room boasting multiple types of gaming systems including Xbox 360, Wii U and Playstation 4. Gas grills are also available for guests’ use. All Home2 Suites by Hilton properties are pet-friendly.

“The strategic location of the hotel, and the all-suite concept as part of the Hilton family of brands create a true differentiation in the market,” cites Ben Seidel, President and CEO for Real Hospitality Group. “We look forward to our partnership with RadSon Development and see growth opportunity in the area and expect solid performance for the hotel.”
