Gus Tejeda returns to Four Seasons Las Vegas as Director of Marketing

The AAA Five Diamond Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas has named Fernando G. (Gus) Tejeda as its new Director of Marketing. Gus returns to the Hotel after serving on the property’s opening team as Director of Sales in 1999.

As Director of Marketing, Gus will lead a robust sales and marketing division, which includes the sales, catering, reservations and public relations departments at the newly renovated, non-gaming luxury property.

A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ hotel school with more than 20 years experience in the Las Vegas market at properties including Bellagio and the Echelon Resorts project, Gus was the ideal candidate for the position.

“Gus’ intrinsic understanding of the Las Vegas market and years of experience in the luxury sector will greatly benefit Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas and its clients,” says Mark Hellrung, General Manager.

Gus most recently served as director of resort sales at The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina, where he oversaw group and leisure sales, catering and conference services. Prior to his tenure with Omni Hotels and Resorts, he served as vice president of group sales at Atlantis, Paradise Island.

Gus’ return to Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas comes during an exciting time for the Strip’s leading luxury hotel. Fall will bring the completed transformation of the Hotel’s nearly 30,000 square feet (2,800 square metres) of meeting and event space and a restyling of Verandah, the Hotel’s Italian restaurant.

Gus is a member of the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives (SITE), Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
