Claude Sauter new GM at Surin Phuket

The Surin Phuket is proud to announce the appointment of Claude Sauter as General Manager, effective 01 July 2014.

Sauter joins the resort from his previous position as General Manager of Panwa Beach Resort by Marco Polo, Phuket. A Swiss national with more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Claude relocated to Thailand in 1997, managing several properties in Phuket. “I am honoured to be  joining The Surin Phuket and delighted to have the opportunity to manage this beautiful property”, he says.

Claude is a graduate of the Hotel Management School of Geneva – considered one of the  top  10  hotel schools in the world – and in April this year, he completed his Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from New York’s Cornell University.

At The Surin Phuket, Claude will oversee all operations of the luxury beachside resort,  which features 103 individual cottages and suites, three restaurants, numerous sports facilities and a luxury  spa. A member of Design Hotels, the resort showcases stunning architecture by the renowned Paris-based Ed Tuttle, and boasts access to the private Pansea beach, where guests can enjoy the exclusive soft white sand and clear waters.
