The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa expands Sales and Marketing team

The recently rejuvenated Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa is proud to announce the strategic appointments of industry veterans Susanna Cota Robles as marketing manager, Arthur Gordon as east coast and eastern Canadian account director and David Toler as the greater Washington D.C. area and Arizona account director.

With more than 65 years of combined experience in hospitality sales and marketing, all three veterans will work to market the award-winning iconic resort.

Susanna Cota Robles joins the team from Real Property Management Rincon in Tucson as a development and marketing manager where, among other duties, she secured new business while producing all marketing materials, advertising campaigns and online presence of existing clients. Prior to this, Robles held a variety of marketing roles in numerous markets including Seattle, Kauai and Tucson. In her new position, Robles will continue to manage all marketing communications including print, online and social media, public relations and promotional strategy for the 487 room resort.

With more than 34 years of hospitality experience, Arthur Gordon joins The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa team as the new east coast account director focusing on corporate, financial and insurance accounts. He most recently served as the national account director of insurance and financial sales for four Salamander Hotels and Resorts properties, generating group business while actively selling, contracting and attending industry events on behalf of all properties. This year, Gordon was appointed by the FCIP Board of Directors to serve on the Membership Committee.

Prior to joining the resort, David Toler worked for four years with the Wyndham Hotel Group. He most recently served as associate director of sales at Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa in Tucson after transferring from Cleveland, Ohio where he was the group sales manager. With a hospitality career spanning 25 years, Toler has touched all areas of hospitality from sales and marketing to director of catering and convention services in Ohio and Miami markets. This led him to his new position as the greater Washington D.C. area and select Arizona account director.

“Their slew of achievements and depth of experience will further bolster the resort’s impeccable standing in the meetings and leisure industry,” said General Manager Glenn Sampert.
