DoubleTree by Hilton opens new property in San Francisco’s East Bay

Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton have announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Pleasanton at the Club, following a comprehensive multi-million dollar renovation.

The 292-room hotel, formerly a Hilton Hotels & Resorts-branded property, is located in the Tri-Valley area within the East Bay region of greater San Francisco, at the crossroads of highways 580 and 680, and offers easy access to all of Northern California’s best attractions, as well as the cities of Oakland and San Francisco. DoubleTree by Hilton Pleasanton at the Club is owned and operated by Johnson Hotel Company and managed by Pacific Pearl Hotels.

As the hotel completes the final touches of the property-wide renovation, each inviting guest room will debut a modern look that includes all new furnishings, 42-inch HDTV and the signature DoubleTree by Hilton SweetDreams bed. Offering 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, the hotel is also ideally-suited to accommodate a range of meeting and event needs from business meetings to banquets and indoor wedding receptions for up to 370 guests. The meeting facility features brand new, state-of-the-art A/V equipment, and the hotel also offers a 24-hour business center to accommodate guest’s connectivity needs.

At Players Restaurant & Lounge, guests can indulge with a refreshing menu of contemporary California cuisine featuring vibrant salads, sandwiches, entrees and more to suit every palate. Guests can also soak up the California sunshine and sip cocktails by the sparkling outdoor pool, unwind in the soothing whirlpool, and take advantage of complimentary access to one of Northern California’s largest fitness and relaxation centers featuring top-of-the-line equipment, fitness classes and spa services. ClubSport is open 5 a.m. – 11 p.m. Monday – Friday and 6 a.m. – 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to ample on-site services and amenities, the hotel is a quick launch to nearby business and leisure destinations, including the Hacienda and Bishop Ranch Business Parks, Stoneridge Mall and the Livermore Premium Outlets, fantastic golfing, and the Livermore Valley wineries. Complimentary shuttle service is provided to the local Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) and Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) stations, which offer convenient access to San Francisco and Oakland.

Hilton HHonors members will be able to earn and redeem points with their stay. To mark the opening, the hotel will offer double Hilton HHonors points on the best available rates for Friday through Sunday stays between July 21, 2014 and January 21, 2015.
