Ilkin Ilyaszade Pan Pacific’s VP Corporate Hotel Management & Pre-Opening

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the appointment of Ilkin Ilyaszade as Vice President, Corporate Hotel Management & Pre-Opening.

In his role, Ilkin will actively drive the implementation of operational projects and manage all pre-openings to enhance product and service excellence across the Group’s portfolio of over 30 “Pan Pacific” and PARKROYAL hotels, resorts and serviced suites in Asia, Oceania and North America

An Azerbaijan national, IIkin has been working in Asia over the past 13 years and brings with him extensive hotel and business management experience in Azerbaijan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, Canada and Singapore.

Most recently, Ilkin was Resort Manager of Four Seasons Resort, Jimbaran Bay, Bali, the company’s biggest resort in Asia Pacific with some 700 employees. Under his leadership, the property achieved record-breaking product and service ratings amongst the Group’s hotels across the region.

Prior to that, Ilkin spent eight years with Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts in senior operations roles at resorts in Sri Lanka and Thailand, and in corporate leadership positions where he managed the Global HR function and special projects across more than 20 countries, and worked with top management on business strategy. 

Ilkin holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Engineering from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and an MBA from the University of British Columbia. He is also a published Harvard Business School author and speaks fluent English, Azeri, Turkish and Russian.

Headquartered in Singapore, Pan Pacific Hotels Group is ramping up its expansion across Asia Pacific with eight pipeline projects in Australia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar that will bring its global portfolio to close to 40 properties within the next three years.
