The International Centre for Culinary Arts and the Expo Centre Sharjah will be hosting a plethora of culinary activities this Ramadan including three specialised Master Classes.
Visitors will for the first time be able to attend one of three ICCA Master Classes hosted by the esteemed culinary institute at the Expo Centre Sharjah. The 45 minute master classes will run on each Thursday of Ramadan, and will be open to 8 lucky participants. The chefs and students will run live cooking demonstrations for all in attendance as well as a ‘Guess the Ingredient’ quiz as part of their culinary activities.
“This is one of the biggest events in the region during the Holy Month. We have been working with the relevant government entities and industry partners to ensure that every event will leave a memorable impression with visitors,” said Mr Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah.
“Besides the best shopping deals, the fair has a dedicated new segment – Taste of Ramadan — that is catering exclusively to connoisseurs of fine food and beverages” added Mr Midfa. Visitors will also have the opportunity to attend Islamic lectures organised in different languages.

While the Ramadan & Eid Fair will be held until July 28, the Sharjah Ramadan Festival events will continue at Expo Centre until July 31.
The Ramadan & Eid Fair will featuring over 100 companies displaying a wide range of household and lifestyle products, apart from lining up enough entertainment, cultural and amusement activities in order to live up to its reputation as the most sought-after leisure and retail destination every Ramadan.
Strengthening its appeal among families, other key attractions at the fair include a multi-cuisine food court, games & workshops for kids, cookery demonstrations, World of Flavours by celebrity chefs, heritage village, charity corner and raffle draws, among others.
As part of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival and Islamic Culture Capital celebrations, Expo Centre will also pay host to nine pavilions, 30 art exhibitions, five theatrical performances, more than 65 lectures, seminars & panel discussions, which will see participation from 20 countries from around the world.
For the first time in the emirate, the festival is featuring an Islamic book fair, as well as a collection of Mamluk Quran manuscripts and rare Islamic artworks. The majlis will also host imminent scholars, scientists, artists and speakers. The festival will also include a pavilion for Sharjah TV and another for Islamic lectures, in addition to the Ramadan Majlis, Art Bazaar, Spice Route Markets, Arab and Islamic Heritage Village and Islamic Heritage Theatre.
