Marriott International has announced the opening of its first AC Hotels by Marriott property in Paris. The sleek and modern design of the 149-room AC Hotel Paris Porte Maillot aims to appeal to business and leisure travellers seeking sharp contemporary style when staying in Paris. The hotel joins two existing AC Hotels by Marriott properties in France – AC Hotel Ambassadeur Antibes-Juan les Pins and AC Hotel Nice in the south of France.
Conveniently located at Porte Maillot, close to the Palais des Congrès, the 4-star AC Hotel Paris Porte Maillot is inspired by the runways and fashion houses of Milan with simple, clean and crisp lines that marry sophisticated European style with approachable design.
The lobby is a collection of inviting furnishings, modern patterns and textures with a layered colour palette of warm greys and soft charcoals with bright accents where guests can enjoy the AC Lounge, serving tempting small plates, cocktails, and a wide selection of wine and beers. Guests can choose to get straight down to work or relax in the lounge with its wide open tables where guests can connect to the free Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel including the guest rooms. For those looking for exercise motivation, the modern fitness centre offers inspirational views of the Eiffel Tower.
AC Hotels by Marriott was launched in 2011 as a joint venture between Marriott International and Spanish hotelier Antonio Catalán. Today, the brand has a portfolio of over 70 hotels in Spain, Italy, Portugal and France and a pipeline of more than 30 hotels set to open within the next three years throughout the U.S. and Latin America.
AC Hotel Paris Porte Maillot guests can earn points for their stay towards free holidays, flights, room nights and more via Marriott Rewards, the company’s frequent traveller programme with over 45 million members worldwide offering exclusive membership privileges across 16 brands, 3,800 destinations and 72 countries.
