Meliá opens two new resorts in Egypt

SolTabaRedSea-BeachBar_2Meliá Hotels International continues to grow in the resort hotel segment with the opening of two hotels in Red Sea region of Egypt which will join the portfolio of the newly-renovated Sol Hotels & Resorts brand. The new Sol Taba and Sol Dahab will be opened in July with a total of 657 rooms.

Both resorts are located in the Sinai Peninsula on the shores of the Red Sea, considered one of the top diving destinations in the world thanks to its magnificent coral reefs and marine biodiversity. The destination attracts thousands of tourists every year and the company already operates four hotels in the coastal city of Sharm el Sheikh.

The Sol Taba hotel is located in Taba, very near the Gulf of Aqaba. It has 440 rooms and 200 metres of private beach, two swimming pools, tennis courts and volleyball courts, several restaurants and bars, as well as three meeting rooms.

SolDahabRedSea-Pool_2The Sol Dahab is located alongside 400 metres of beach in the small town of Dahab, a paradise beach for beach lovers, divers and surfers on the southeast coast of the Sinai Peninsula. The hotel provides 217 rooms, a spa, gym, kids club, beauty centre, event facilities, tennis court and diving and windsurfing centre. There are numerous restaurants, including a pool grill, and several bars and lounges.
